Education/Certification/License: Masters degree, or equivalent experience in Behavioral Sciences, Education or related field.
Position Summary: Assesses and analyses management training and development needs. Develops strategic plans for development of training curricula, professional development and related consulting interventions. Conducts and/or coordinates the programs. Duties: Consults with leaders within the organization to assess, trend and analyze the learning needs of employees based on current and future strategic plans. Develops, implements and coordinates various training programs and training interventions . Serves as a master trainer providing training and coaching to trainers and learning consultants. Monitors, evaluates and makes leveraging recommendations about the cost effectiveness and quality of learning programs. Plans, advocates for and implements the deployment of learning systems. Manages, evaluates, selects, retains and brokers a pool of internal trainers, with diverse expertise to provide leveraged training of a specialized and/or technical nature. Evaluates, selects and deploys computer based training programs. Stays abreast of learning, consulting, training and development research including theory, motivation theory and new materials, methods and techniques. Performs other related duties as assigned by
management. May assist HR Operations Manager and other staff with special projects.
Other Duties: Provides on-site consulting services to Medical Center and Regional Operations, Labor and Safety leaders in the design and implementation of local strategies to meet injury reduction targets. Participates as a member of safety assessment team. Must be able and willing to travel extensively throughout the Northern California region. Collaborates with other functional areas such as; Patient Care Services, Consulting Services, New Hospitals Strategies, Learning and Development, and others to develop and implement region-wide and local strategies.

A Senior Loss Control Consultants secondary responsibility is to work with policyholders to identify and evaluate risk factors and to develop recommendations to effectively control them. Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3-4 years loss control experience within an insurance carrier, or three years of insurance carrier experience and at least three years of safety industry or safety related experience.
